Getting around Suurniemi, picking berries and mushrooms is easy for even the most adventurous hiker, as the area is bordered on three sides by Lake Lohjanjärvi. The nearby Karkali Nature Park with its groves and Torhola Cave are also excellent day trip destinations for nature lovers. 

Sheep maintains open areas, which allows many flowering plants to bloom. Perennial grazing has indroduced many rare plants to the nearby meadow. 

Our farm has several nature reserves to preserve the delicate natural groves.
